April this year has been a wet month. We finally had a sunny day on April 26, 2015 and the Wolves took advantage of such a beautiful day. The Wolves joined Troop 95 in a six mile hike at Red Mountain. They got to see a glimpse of what Boy Scouts do to earn their ranks in a Troop. On the hike, the Scouts learned and practiced how to use a map and compass, identified animal and plant life, and practice the principals of Leave No Trace. The six mile hike was an exciting excursion, with stops seeing remnants of the former mines and great views of the city!
