The regular Pack 95 year may be over but we have always had some kind of a summer program. We do this for a number of different reasons:

  1. It keeps the kids excited about Cub Scouts.
  2. It is a great opportunity for new Tiger Cubs and other cub scouts to join while it is low key.
  3. It is a great time to get started on advancements before the crush of fall gets here
  4. Kids can earn the Summertime Achievement Award
  5. It’s Fun!

We will start off the summer with a hike at Ruffner Mountain on June 8 and for some, two days later starts Vulcan District Day Camp. You will notice some other great events with the highlight being the Summer Soaker on July 27. If you don’t know about it, just visit the Picasa Page for an overview or YouTube to see Mr. Swaika having fun.

To earn the Summertime Achievement Award, you must attend one event in each month June, July and August. We have two or three event each month to help you out.

Put these dates on your calendar, they are already on the Pack calendar. Watch this website and your email for more information during the summer.
